Their Vision: As a gesture and reminder of their blessed union, they intend to replace the center ring every 5 years whilst renewing their marriage vows. They believe in constancy and view the renewal of wedding vows as a meaningful way to honour and celebrate one’s marriage.
Follow these two newlyweds, Darius and Amanda, on their journey to create their very own pair of bespoke wedding rings…
“We had a challenging time looking for a ring design that ‘spoke to us’. After visiting numerous jewellers, we concluded that we like the look of stacked rings but wanted to come up with a design that was not too bulky. We also wanted to renew our vows at our anniversary with a unique ring every time. Together with LeCaine, we managed to come up with elegant rings that retain the look of stacked rings with an intriguing twist. It is a really unique design and style and we felt it really represents us as individuals and as a couple.”
What is your favourite part of this design?
“Firstly we love the design. Amanda’s ring has a combination of the classic eternity band, a crown top and a 2 stone baguette diamond ring that can be slotted in and out. It also has a combination of White, Yellow and Rose Gold so it looks really unique and interesting. For Darius, we chose a matte rose gold and white gold jacket with a ceramic ring slot. This gave it a masculine look that looks great wearing it on his bigger hands.
The amazing thing about our rings is that we can replace the inserts with another design in future. We intend to design inserts for our future anniversaries.. this signifies the continuing commitment to our marriage and because we can change the insert depending on the occasion, our ring designs will retain their timelessness.”
Can you share some tips for couples who are looking for their engagement ring and wedding bands?
“It’s important for the ring to represent yourselves and be something that you are proud to wear. A good jeweller is also imperative in helping you iterate your ideas and produce the design you have in mind.”
